This was really good. The arc in the manga is kind of a blur for me. I only remember the theater scene, the “kiss” and the scene with Makima and the rats with various levels of static in between. What they do with the animation and the colors is gonna help a ton.

Honestly this is a big one to me. I’ve known about this movie ever since my big Cloverfield phase, and I heard that it took a lot from The Host. As a kid, I would’ve been pretty disappointed. But as an adult, I can see this and say that Bong Joon-ho was always like this.
