I used to think there couldn't be any creatives more completely and utterly owned by the cruel universe than the Wachowski's but Miyazaki's 'In the twilight of my life my work will be appropriated and become one of the premier aesthetics of fascism' is really, really close

I would even put Dr. No above Thunderball, the pacing slams into a fucking wall in that movie and I am a bit more generous with the first bond movie for its failings. That and I hated that they shot like 10 sharks for real in the filming of that movie.

I think its so funny that in both Hueco Mundo and Blood War this is what it eventually devolves into anyway. Though at least Bloodwar gives some of the ritters character arc reasons to have existed.

Apparently this one got an anime, although from what clips I have seen of it looks like they had about 5frames per action scene allotted in the budget.
