Just finished this interesting book, I loved the myth of Fred Neil now I can embrace what else was known about an enigmatic artist who went from coffee house to Brill Building to Influencing many of the major rock acts of the 60's. I thought I knew the fable of Fred Neil..until I read this.

We attended the dedication of Steve Albini Way during yesterdays chilly afternoon. Heather shared some hilarious and heartfelt Steve stories as did Kim Deal. Greg Norman did Steve justice.
As Heather said He’d likely think this was a massive joke. But we need stuff to hold onto.
