I kinda get the feeling that when digital art became a thing that people who made physical art felt the same way. People who honed their craft for their entire life got phased out by the next iteration of art. As much as we dislike ai for being the current fad tool to use, that’s what it is.

My experience: I would have given anything to have had more time with my dog, but it came on suddenly and with no time to operate (left atrial mass.) Our cat got about a year from chemo and even remission, only to have it finish the job a month later. That year imho was not worth it. YMMV
