Burrowing Owls in many spots, and solitary Chukar on some of the side roads on the road to the ranch house. Don't forget the bison!

There is a gate to the causeway road that closes at night. I don't know when it opens.

I first have to disclaim knowledge of dawn - haven't done that in awhile. But I'd be surprised. The GSL is low and bird populations are too, with occasional surprises - hundreds of Wilson's Phalarope a week ago for example, although none of them flying much. It really is unpredictable.
