Ive had a dark few months.. Blighted by anxiety. But I've been reading Dante's The Divine Comedy and Good Grief its the most amazing thing I have ever read in my life and has slowly put my head into better shape. So much so that I am back in the sewing room, designing and creating!!!

One thing lead to another.. and then another and Ive ended up with some of my old book cover cushions back in my Etsy shop! #booksky

I have created a mini course for anyone who would love to know how to download fabric designs and print them off at Spoonflower or Woven Monkey. Digital fabric prints are becoming a Thing! And its all very simple.. no tech knowledge needed or any design software :) Let me know what you think!

I had a lovely day making cushions today. I’m really happy with this print. It’s nice to be able to spend time at home sewing and having absolutely nothing else to do ❤️

Our culture tells us that "success" is measured in terms of money, social standing how big your business is or how famous you are..and it gets on my nerves!! Some of the most successful people I know have none of those things :) These are my new fabric squares. inspired by my annoyance this morning!

I have been designing fabric for my new Woven Monkey Store! I tried to open a Spoonflower store, but read some not so great stuff about it. I decided to give it a try anyway but when I tried to verify my account I was told that I needed to buy something in order to change my address!!! Ummm :/

I printed this quirky fabric to turn into a skirt.. but my cats have nested for winter in my sewing room and I feel bad disturbing them ! So it will have to wait till spring!!

Making hankies is my ultimate favourite thing to do! We’ve all become too
used to using disposable bleached tissues.. and let’s face it hankies are cute and much much nicer 💕

Had a really fun couple of weeks getting back into sewing. It’s so therapeutic to be creating again.. these grown up colourful skirts are now hanging up in my sewing room ♥️
