Yes, I have been, when it was about half built, and it was a fascinating experience, which I would love to repeat. It lives vividly in my memory. Too old and arthritic to volunteer, sadly.

Well down the rabbit hole now, I find that X is for X-ray fish. Unless it plays the xylophone, I’m stumped about words you would expect an early reader, or even an adult one, to know. Memo to self - DO NOT buy the book.

One of my team members was on the train. He wandered into the office looking dazed, dusty and disheveled and we just made him a cup of tea and made sympathetic noises. It seems astonishing now that we (and he) weren’t more shocked by it.
