This might be due to the internet being such a blank tone wise that it's hard to read if someone's intention, and add to that the polarity of politics and you have a perfect storm for misunderstanding.

"But how can I feel good if I take into account everything they say?"

Idk where this problem really lies. I know that at some point in the past people understood what people meant, while now most people have to either be super specific about stuff or randos will try to distort what they say 1/2

Looking at other comments, I would say overflow "..." is probably my top choice, followed by a gear with a small eye on the side.

I was going to suggest puzzle piece, cause firefox uses it for extensions that don't show on the hotbar, but its not for that kinda of use.

... meaningless.

But yeah, people should pay more attention when replying.

2/2

I mean... maybe plataforms like twitter, bluesky or whatever should have some form of automatic labeling multiple posts of the same author?

Like when people do 1/2 or whatever at the end.

Or maybe just remove the character limit? I mean after all we can just post a second one so the limit is kinda

Idk about credit unions here in the USA, but here they often just suck. But crypto is even worse so, still a better option.

either that, or they are always online looking for notifications... which is my case

No, but you should burn the house down to be safe

Do people still use fax? Or is this just an email?
March 14, 2025 at 7:40 PM
Yeah, it might be more efficient on the training side of things, as you only need to teach people a few things to reply, but it definitly is not efficient for the customer who has to waste hours getting "ping-ponged" around departaments

It was a good video. I think that some of that problem might just come from people not being interested in learning about the tech anymore and like the simplicity of it

I always try new restaurants when I have the chance to, you never know what you are going to like until you try it. (though Im the same person who will order the same plate on restaurants I like)

Well... yeah that's kind of the point. To make machines/systems that would provide for humans some stuff so that those humans can provide to others at a higher quality or provide things that weren't possible before.

Sometimes I put a podcast/video essay/music to listen to while Im driving. But where I live there is basically no transit

Yeah they should add the option "Followers" to the who can reply.

I wonder what the venn diagram of people who "know what a Joule is" and "Don't know what Giga is" looks like.

I wonder what would be a pratical way to detect bots, cause I can't think of many. The only time I saw a bot was because I talked to it for a few replies until I cornered it to admitting it was a bot. (later it deleted all the replies to me)
January 27, 2025 at 6:49 PM
Even then, just a few bots with a good amount of likes and an adversarial view might push other people who wouldn't be doing that to jump in and reply too. And then others who agree will jump in defense, then the whole thing keeps going.

Basically it becomes a snowball.
