Ultimately, we are not drowning in alternatives right now, and Bandcamp remains a very good option. But I would argue that more options would be better.

I don't think people's concern is a matter of money though.
It's a fear of terms being a potential ticking bomb.

Specifically, they mention that you waive the right for the to use their music from any purposes of theirs (like using a clip from your music in their ads), and that these rights extend to affiliated companies (including their owner Songtradr).
