We took one of the big sturdy boxes Thumpers came in and filled it with wet concrete and left it in the office of one of the leaders of the Thumper project one April 1. Written on the side was "Hardened Thumper".

(Ex Sun kernel guy here) I feel that it wasn't as much open source ( Solaris was open sourced) that really hurt Sun, but several failures in processor development and an inability to pivot to monitizing software support properly to provide revenue during economic downturns (2001, 2008).

We need videos from optical gas imaging cameras for CO₂ emissions.
What you see without an OGI camera vs what you see with an OGI camera.

What you are seeing in a plume of methane and VOCs.

You can see how it is so easy for them to ignore the ongoing systemic methane pollution.

A nice guy, too... he used to stop by at Sun Microsystems (back when it was where Facebook is now) and enjoy a glass of wine at the networking/kernel group meet-ups - nearly 20 years ago now.

Extraordinarily corrupt. I watched FCC chair Brendan Carr's full interview on Hannity. Carr basically said straight out that coverage of Trump he deems overly hostile can be decreed contrary to the "public interest," and thus grounds for yanking licenses:
