Gotta love technology. My 82-year-old French Canadian father has voice control to access TV.

watching various AI’s interact while I’m editing an agency brief is both humourous and a pain in the ass.

Microsoft copilot doesn’t like Grammarly, and Grammarly throws a fit every time I try to spell the Canadian English version of a word.

Turning off AI support is a waste of time.

If true, the resignation of Trudeau is many things, to many people. It will give the Liberals a chance to choose a new leader, and it will take away the one thing the opposition has in its arsenal for the next election. While a successful non-confidence vote could force an election, ...

As a Star Trek fan in Canada, not having the last season of Prodigy available on streaming was a bit of a downer. Avoiding comments on social media has been challenging without getting too much in the way of details.

Lunch time at the cabin; charcuterie followed by enough fresh baking… chocolate chip cookies fresh from the oven, and classic gingerbread, short bread, and butter tarts.

Weird moment in DX marketing: somehow sales reps started to believe UTMs are magical and could track activity on other people’s sites.

I wish they could ;)

Obscure work related thought:

Dear Adobe,

Love all the AI enhancements, but when can we get a spell check in Photoshop or Illustrator?

It doesn’t feel like doomscrolling on #Bluesky. It’s oddly refreshing.

Checking the weather:

“Heavy rain and wind due to atmospheric river; second bomb cyclone arrives Saturday.”

Russian promises of nuclear rain still not showing up.

Never trust Russian forecasts ;)
