A new-old pattern this #WIPWednesday. This was designed a few years ago, and I’m not sure why I didn’t stitch it up at the time.

Swatchin’ 2: The Sequel
Two pieces of blackwork embroidery on white cloth. One is on evenweave, one is Aida cloth. Both show variations of the same repetitive pattern, which looks like twisted ribbons. The variations range from a single-stranded version of the basic motif, to double- and triple-stranded versions with extra stitches to increase the density and darkness of the motif’s appearance.
