I believe they face no charges, but state troopers can arrest them and bring them to the state capitol. BUT the warrant only applies in Texas, and most if not all of the absent lawmakers aren't in-state. I recommend the Texas Tribune's great coverage of this: www.texastribune.org/2025/08/04/t...

The warrants apply only within state lines, making them largely symbolic as most of the legislators in question decamped to Illinois, New York and Massachusetts.
