Politics, philosophy, sociology, usual pretentious stuff.
It's been really hard sticking to my values in the face of plutocracy and red tape. Idk if I have any good reason to trust anyone anymore. Libs are useless, conservatives are dangerous, socialists refuse to organize, and anarchist are too defeated to do anything.

I can't take a libertarian who supports the modern Republican party seriously.

It breaks my heart that the only 3rd option we had has devolved into a psy op for nationalism, the exact thing libertarians are supposed to be against.

Liberalism is inherently left wing. Neoliberalism is right wing, social Democracy/liberalism is left wing. The modern divide.

Classical liberalism isn't a real thing. It's a post hawk rationalization of an era where ideology wasn't prevalent, or a scapegoat to be intellectually lazy/dishonest.

I've grown a bit complacent with the modern socialist movements. There's a lot of potential if people would just calm down and figure out ways to apply the theory in pragmatic ways, especially within the tech space.

Primitivism will always fascinate me.

Part of me years for the time before society, I feel we've become too socialized and pathologized by modern convenience. We've become sloppy creatures who abused our evolutionary advantages

However not dying from dysentery or starving to death is pretty cool.

When looking at the right wing in America, it's important to remember that these people don't care about liberalism as a philosophy anymore.

They have been swept away with dreams and promises of a strong man. Caught up in a dilemma that could easily flip on them. There's two sides to every coin.
