here's today's #Paleostream sketches!!!

today we sketched Terminonatator, Armadillosuchus, Suminia, and Kongonaphon
a courting pair of Terminonatator bond by cooperating in processing their latest kill. they rip into the juvenile mosasaur with their large teeth, ripping it apart by holding on to either end and pulling away with their muscular necks and flippers. the dappled light of the surface can be seen behind them Terminonatator is an extremely pin headed elasmosaur, long necked marine reptiles with four powerful flippers that they used to propel themselves through the water. Terminonatator had a very long neck and was most likely macropredatory based on the size of its teeth an Armadillosuchus emerges from the shade of a conifer tree in the morning. it walks across the thick layer of shed pine needles, although another conifer tree's branch slightly obscures it. Armadillosuchus is an extinct crocodilian that had large forward facing inscisors and downward facing fangs. they most likely feed on tubers and insects, using their powerful frontlimbs to dig and potentially make burrows. they are also famous for their coating of osteoderms which may have been covered in a layer of tissue akin to leather-back sea turtles. a Suminia holds on to a branch using all four of its limbs and urinates towards the camera Suminia is a synapsid (mammal-like reptile) that we know was definitively arboreal based on its joints. it was small and vaguely represented a mix between a small monkey and a tree monitor, although these arent 1:1 examples a Kongonaphon is resting on some cracked mud, remaining water is seen in the top right. it's spooked by a large shadow that appears in the bottom right and jumps, although the camera took a picture at the wrong (or right?) time as its upper body is a large blur with only its legs and tail in focus Kongonaphon is a primitive relative of pterosaurs which is only known from a few body fragments, but from its other relatives, we know it may have been arboreal and also may have possessed strong jumping capabilities. Kongonaphon and its relatives had long necks, long tails, and long legs that splayed to the sides almost akin to a frog with equally large feet to match
