I don’t know I could be way off base here.

Writing research software: professionally for robotics, previously for spacecraft dynamics, personally for astronomy. 🔭

Loving Greater Boston.

I saw others point out Garamond — I hadn't heard of it before, but it looks really professional, especially for prose. It reminded me of the zed.dev website's title font, which is apparently Lora. Looks kind of like a more modern and clean Garamond!

I love the duospace and quatrospace fonts for writing and UI in text editors. Anywhere that I’m jumping back and forth with monospace fonts, like code for a paper.

You really don’t see an editorial inconstancy here? Compared with NYT’s trigger-happy reporting on hacked documents related to Mamdani that aren’t anywhere near this?

I genuinely do not understand this. I don’t think anyone is interested in these emails because of who released them, or because of any broader context that is different in kind than when the emails were published in 2015, after the presidential election.

I’m not a big fan “personal responsibility” logic but it’s remarkable that these guys never apply those arguments to men who chose not to participate in the information economy that 90’s politicians shouted about.

Yup agreed, their compiler supports incremental compilation and it’s fully open-source, so it could be the engine in another open-source editor project (like Zed!)

There’s always typst.app! Not WYSIWYG though. I’m wanting someone to build a solid Markdown / technical writing editor that work’s with Zed’s collaboration mode.

Does Mass. AG have any recourse here? Any petitions or pressure campaigns folks should be aware of so far?
