Gradually making my way through my testing. Slight changes to the circuits today to give software more control. Refining the box design for cleaner look. Next week will be built-in configuration to make the pad easier to use from the start.

Beginnings of the UI working. Lower right button is a bank select allowing pad to generate any of 120 different MIDI notes to the LP1. Track status appear in the left two columns. More status to come in the remaining LEDs, but not there, yet. Also, rotation of keypad possible.

Getting closer. This runs the LP1 software with the standard 8 stereo tracks. It weighs only 318g (11.2oz). Buttons are lighted to show status and functions are programmable. Have a little more software to do and then I'll create a video.

Trying out a new manufacturer for the LP2. Will stuff the parts that they didn't have in stock by hand and then try the new board this weekend. If all goes well, we could see a price drop on the LP2 in the near future.

More on power usage: here is a photo of the USB power meter that I've had attached for the last day. The thing to note is that maximum current during that period was 1.116A.
