You put a coin in an Excel nerd and they don’t stop, but I respect the does the job approach

First off, I train people in Excel, learners laugh at me when I say a method is elegant so thank you for that! I’ve worked out a way to do it using filter and countif, is that enough to get you started or do you want more detail?

You could in the cells used for your dropdown have formulas for each like IF(remaining > 0,“card type”,””) but this would show blank instead of the name, instead of unselectable like a webform would. If you want unselectable you would probably need to use VBA

Niche, but I saw this the other day. New build neighbourhood in the US has streets named after cities in Skyrim

The problem is that the oligarchs who profit from privatised healthcare also own the media, so it’s only a matter of time before they convince enough of the public that they do want it privatised

Mine too, but these are bleak times

I don’t see it as not compromising, I voted for Nick Clegg way back and got buyers remorse, the same could be said for a leftie who voted Labour. As lefties, compromise and understanding are our greatest strength and weakness, it gets exploited forcing us to vote for the next least terrible option.
September 7, 2025 at 11:45 AM
Same here. I live in what was a Tory stronghold until Labour dethroned them last year (only because their vote was split by Reform). Council is all Tory, Labour and one Reform but the act of voting Green still feels good.
September 7, 2025 at 11:19 AM
The first time I voted Green was last year’s GE, never felt so good to vote. Whenever I look at how Green MPs vote in parliament it gives me such a sense of pride.
September 7, 2025 at 11:03 AM
I joined the Greens and voted Green last year BECAUSE of their socialist policies. And Palestine.

I’ve just watched a video of him where he suggests many socialist ideals. How is the redistribution of wealth and protecting workers rights not socialist? I don’t think you know what socialism is, again proving my original point.
September 7, 2025 at 10:56 AM
Absolutely. The media is owned and controlled by the wealthy elite so demonising socialism is in there interest. This is why Farage gets so much press as he will protect elite interests. Polanski has an uphill struggle with media coverage - Corbyn was a good example of this.
September 7, 2025 at 10:52 AM
You can be Green and not socialist. The things Polanski is suggesting - wealth tax, redistribution of wealth, investing in communities, protecting workers rights - are all socialist policies, I appreciate that not all Greens worldwide are suggesting this.

They’re doing socialist things without saying they’re socialist, which kind of demonstrates my point. Number 7 on that list could have been written by Marx himself.

It’s crazy that you can get so many people to support socialism when you don’t use the word socialism
September 7, 2025 at 8:43 AM
As I read this the radio are talking about Angela Rayner, no mention of Farage, media priorities are insane.
September 4, 2025 at 8:03 AM
We should get as many of us as possible to send one to Farage

We’re not far off saying that The Office was only written by Stephen Merchant so we can still love it, like how Father Ted was only written by Arthur Mathews
