It looks naughty.

That was quite a bounce!

Kinda looks like a dog Claire from The Summoning.

There is an idiomatic way to say something like "I'd like" in Spanish, though I'm not sure if it's regional: "quería..." It softens the statement from a demand to a request. At a restaurant you can also phrase it "¿me traes...?" for the same effect.

First rule of Spanish: o = male, a = female. So what's the correct femenine of "pollo"? That's right. So when you want a big juicy chicken tell them, "dame una polla bien gorda".

Meat is still mostly water, otherwise it's closer to jerky. In humans it's 65%. So it's only around 5-10% that's neither water nor proteins.

So, hypothetically, if someone *had* made a suggestion that was much better than your initial idea, you'd rather not hear about it because you didn't ask for suggestions? Yes, in this case it was impossible; I'm speaking hypothetically.

Dude, they were all perfectly polite. None of them were even close to mocking or condescending. I'll grant you that they didn't bother to check if someone else had made the same comment, but it sounds like there was no way to make the suggestion in a way you would've approved of.

People are just trying to be helpful. They don't know you personally and don't know what you know, or what state your phone is in. You don't have to spit on their good intentions.

You're being too harsh. They both work.

Aww. She's cute. You should do more werewolves with soft expressions.

Got a link?

That wallpaper, though.

Did people not learn anything from Tumblr?
July 24, 2025 at 6:45 AM
Only problem is, this was entirely political. I'm far from a fan, bu it's nothing to do with Twitter specifically. Nothing prevents another judge from demanding his political opponents from being silenced here.

Oh, wow. I wasn't paying a lot a of attention and I really thought it was Pudge who had posted this. Good job!

Just figured I'd offer a bit of language trivia, but if you want to take it like that, I suppose you can.

A dorazo is a strike performed while brandishing a doro. The augmentative form of "doro" would be "dorote".

Damn. You write all your girls so adorable!

I believe the person you're responding to was talking about their perception of success wrt their own actions. Nothing they said implied that you should share the same benchmark of success, AFAICT.

salaries to divert all talent away from their competitors. It has nothing to do with productivity, but rather simple supply and demand. Some musicians bring in more asses to the seats, so concert organizers may compete with each other for them by paying more (and charging more per seat).
July 20, 2024 at 1:46 AM
I think the actual explanation is not that the musician is being paid more to not become a computer programmer, but rather that they're being paid to play at *that* venue (or with that organizer) instead of a different one. The same thing is seen in engineering, where some companies pay ourageous

You don't control your information at all as long as it lives in someone else's computer, fascism or no fascism. If you want to control your information then set up your own server in your own property, and hope they don't seize your domain name.
July 15, 2024 at 6:26 PM
I don't understand what you're worried about. That a fascist state would shutdown Internet-based services? Why would it do that, when it could use it to spy on people (e.g. to stomp out dissent)? But doesn't the US already do that?
