I have not seen #cat for hours. She may have been avoiding me for being dangerously sick.

Or she acknowledged that she couldn’t help me, so she stayed with my Mom who was tasked with taking care of me. She needed support too, probably support at her level.

So happy she’s come to check on me now.

Fam was telling me that her allergies 🤧 are acting up, and the cat 🐈‍⬛ dander in her bed is probably contributing. So, she’s going to change her sheets tonight, and go to bed with clean sheets.

Well, every #catOwner knows where this story went.
It’s a tuxedo cat, in a white clean bed, tented under a top sheet. She has an annoyed look because we disturbed HER by lifting the top sheet for a peek.

We have declared the stroller Boots's safe place: unless it is urgent, #cat must be left alone when she's there.

It's great for giving her the idea of the stroller/carrier being safe, so she retreats there in public spaces, and easier for trips.

However, safe places means safe from kisses 🚫💋😔

Went for a group walk along the river this morning. Took #cat in stroller; asked what supplies I carried for her: wheel repair, leash, poop baggies, and BUBBLES 🫧

So we played bubbles 🫧 to entertain Boots.

This afternoon, someone sent me this artist's rendition:

Despite her fears to the contrary, #cat has survived her annual physical. There were lab coats 🥼 needles 💉 probing, terrible spine touching (She does have hyperaesthesia of the back) and mean humans holding her down, but she's made it.

And been sleeping off the sedative all night.

I found it fascinating as a #calligraphy hobbyist, a #writer trained with some #graphicDesign (minimal because sometimes the copy changes w/o GD avail) & a general #nerd.
Under the URL for the presentation is the title “Fonts Matter”: Two sticky notes are presented, with the same sentence in two fonts. The first is red block letters with little hearts, declaring “I will always find you.” The second is bleeding slash laceration letters declaring: “I will always find you.” Both give very different vibes. The sentence is misspelled on both notes: “always” is mistakenly spelled with two “L”s (elles). Yes, the presenter Chris Taylor has been made aware. Boots has gotten even better at moving the balloon around the apartment. Today, she has figured out the having it hover over the couch will get the ribbon at perfect head height.
