Did you like the Kidprint segment at all? It was tonally opposite of the rest of it, but it was the only segment that actually got a reaction out of me since VHS2. The last one was definitely the best of the bunch though.

Yeah the combat gauntlets really wore me down. Definitely the worst parts of the game

The switch from consoles having hard drives to ssd was pretty massive in terms of performance improvements. All of the talk around these new consoles are raytracing and machine learning. It’s gonna be a really hard sell.
I think the PS5 will be relevant for a long time in the same way the PS4 is.

I’m aware of speedtree, but why would the developers mention ai use on the steam page if countless other games have used speedtree over many years? I think generating textures is different than the procedural generation that speedtree does for branches and whatnot. I could be totally wrong though.

I love this series and even though Clap Hanz isn’t involved I’m gonna give it a shot. The ai leaf and grass textures really piss me off but I’m assuming this was some corporate mandated garbage to add ai to their workflow. It’s just so unnecessary.

I’ll play Silksong 2 years from now probably.

Ridge Racer Vita and Unbounded were such bad games to leave the series off on that I would like them to try again. Type 4, 6, 7 and PSP 2 are probably my most replayed games so I pretty desperately want a new entry.

Everyone’s already saying it, but Astro’s Playroom is the best introduction you can get for the system. It was my favorite exclusive until Astro Bot came out.

I am visually impaired and a big part of the reason I quit playing it was the ui being nearly unreadable for me.
