What have I learned from Chinese wuxia TV dramas?

Now I can't stop the images in my head.

Watched the Omniscient Reader’s Viewpoint movie.

Utterly mid and pretty pointless beyond a mediocre cash-grabz

And I’m caught up on the webtoon.

I think WEAPONS will be a hit in Japan and possibly Korea, because they’re already primed for this kind of intimate apocalyptic horror of the irrational.

The societal anxiety of insane, malicious evil exploding the stability of the community is a common theme in Japanese and Korean pop fiction.

Know what would be funny about the Legebd of Zelda movie? If Link never says a word and everyone else talks in that Charlie Brown “wahwah-wah-wah-wah-wah” language like in the games.

I don't get why gamers are whining about AI being used to make THE ALTERS.

Don't they realise that every NPC in every game they ever played has been an AI for over the last twenty years?

How many people can say they spent an afternoon in a meeting helping their cousin develop a whole comic book publishing venture, and then end the day writing about how Doctor Who can be a blonde woman?

All while in Thailand?

My life has become low-key very strange.

Yes, Apple TV+ exists.

What happens when you ask an AI to write an episode of Doctor Who?

The results are surprisingly professional, competent, coherent and derivative of elements from Davies and Moffat's past episodes, but entirely plot-driven and lacking in any emotional development.

The whole plot of Taylor Sheridan's 1923 is Homer’s THE ODYSSEY, which is all about waiting for the hero to return in the final act of the story to kill all the bad guys.

One of my least favourite plot structures.
