I justify this behavior by telling myself it was quite an elaborate show.

The cat is holding the ball next to them, with a halo over their head. Then they throw the ball at the raccoon, causing them to split into parts, poof into sandwich components (two slices of bread, cheese, pickles, tomato, meat), and fall onto the cat's palm, which they were holding to catch the food. In the next two panels, the cat is holding the sandwich with both hands, then taking a bite while squishing the sandwich hard. The ex-raccoon appears distressed about the prospect. In the last panel, the cat is chewing on the sandwich while still holding it in one hand. The sandwich's expression has changed to a dazed one, with swirly eyes. "Mmm. Raccoon…" says the cat. A backpack with the ball is depicted in the corner.

Summer is over, better use that vinyl body for something more season-fitting

Was given a cute idea so wanted to do it (totally not as an excuse to draw myself as a pooltoy).
