All in all, the 100ish days I spent in 2020, post-emergency appendectomy in the sweltering August soup of Rome, Italy during a COVID emergency that included a lovely post-surgical hematoma and a scar that literally reshaped my abdomen as a really very pleasant 100 days, comparatively.
