In Boston we saw a total of 3 counter protesters and they were angry and yelling at some people on the common, trying to start something (no one took the bait). The only angry people we saw all day. They are in power and have their way, why are they still so mad?

This is part of why I canceled my NYTimes subscription. They just spin and normalize everything he does no matter how damaging or insane. Should have canceled it a while ago— the recent irresponsible op eds finally sent me over the edge.

I just cancelled my subscription. They are platforming dangerous anti-democratic ideas with little context or pushback. It’s one thing to publish opinion pieces that I find disagreeable. But they also publish sane washed headlines and content that refuses to acknowledge the US is in danger

Oh for sure. I just think “leave immediately” is not fair advice for an overwhelmed new mom. But focus on yourself, this is info he gave you about his ability to be a partner, get yourself independent, get support and do what you must when you are ready— that is manageable. Been there too.

Omg this guy is an emotional toddler and cruel. I would take this information and start planning my exit if I were this woman. Get yourself healthy emotionally, think about how you will make $, get support. A man this immature and lacking empathy cannot be trusted at all.

5th grade here. We were all totally overwhelmed. No support. Replaced it with story of fifth grae male teacher snapping bra straps. Who the hell knows after that, but I suspect that was a trauma response (though he could have also been creepy 🙄)
