Our game dev journey has taken a small detour. Whilst playtesting our adventure monster tamer, I found a nostalgic cozy corner that reminded us of the @sonic-official.bsky.social's Chao Garden! This is a smaller initial release, and we'll soon need anyone's help to playtest and make it great.

I've also been working on making the world's inhabitants more expressive. This one is terrified to battle after comparing its health stat with the enemy's attack stat.

Finally... procedurally generated slimes in an open voxel world that pass down traits with mutations 😮‍💨. Some wacky slimes are created when the generator is on random rather than biome

Been working on the fog 😮‍💨. Now the height-based fog means you can dip into the clouds and below the mist. Only after a day of bugfixing.

Still working on getting the look right. The change to the brighter linear space is making me lean towards a thicker fog. Height-based would be good too hm
