This isn’t about that.

Ahlqvist is very strong. But i believe neither Gustavson or Havdahl specifically tested that hypothesis. Others?

IMO that’s not enough to say we’ve “proven” no causal connection.

“Best evidence indicates no causal connection” works, but it’s not exactly headline worthy.

I think “unproven” is accurate. I don’t think any of those authors would say that they’ve “proven” there is no causal connection. Their studies did not find a causal connection. That’s not the same thing.

This feels right. I believe they intended this.

It’s *adorable* that you think that’s possible for him or his followers.

Was Socrates actually illiterate? Seems unlikely. This site suggests he was taught to read & write.

Remember earlier this year when we said the pres could remove members of independent bodies but told you not to worry about the Fed because of its “unique history”? Wellllll…

Still think about the 60 yo dude who walked past me in mile 18 in cargo shorts and a seemingly bone dry polo in my first marathon.

Wow. You’d be willing to stake your ENTIRE professional reputation on it?

But what about ALL your Academy Awards and ALL your Super Bowl rings?

Would you risk them, too?

Agree with 1st sentence. Completely disagree with the notion that the internet “didn’t really affect this phenomenon.”

Nah. It’s a factor, but so is the existence of this space - and car culture did not cause the internet.

It's a much greater indictment of our retreat from irl community but also car culture, I suppose.

Policy CAN cut through, and the IRA probably would've cut through eventually. But the IRA needed time for the effects to show.

What they NEEDED to win immediately was MINIMUM WAGE. The misinfo machine wasn't going to win that battle. With another 4 years to mature, IRA might've survived.

He’s 3rd on every list I’ve seen. Even if he was 1st, what’s likely to generate more future sales, having the same team win over & over - when fans already have jerseys & everyone else is sick of them - or having a new champ every year and you get those sweet bandwagon sales?

Great work. Literally no one can think that system makes sense when the defendant is acquitted. They clearly just think it won’t happen to anyone they care about.

TBC, I think it’s bad even if guilty.
