No, totally agree, ime expressing unavailibitly often requires like near constant vocal disinterest in polyamoury, lesbianism, t4t lesbianism (choose as many as can possibly apply and don't be afraid to exaggerate)

Which then avoids avoids you discovering that you've put a bunch of energy into a friendship with someone who basically only views you as a potential sexual partner

The way this split shapes expectations basically precludes a lot of the frustrations that people are talking about. ime being able to indicate you're not interested in sex makes a lot of transfem spaces more tolerable as it limits the people that interact with you to those not interested in sex.
