i happened to walk behind this guy some time ago, and asked him if i could take a photo. he lives around here too but had gotten the tattoo while living in brazil after seeing burrowing owls there. he wasn't aware that he is practically surrounded by owls here.

probably hundreds of years and at the end the birthplace of my maternal grandmother, the last of her generation in my family who had passed away earlier that year on the day i passed my last examn. a strange journey through time and space and the right book for it.

i think it has to be orlando, the only book of hers i've read so we can discuss it here. i read it in fall of 2011 on a trip around half of the baltic sea where i visited my birthplace in sweden for the first time since i was about a month old, the area where a big part of my family lived for
