Laurence LongCat here - I first met Peter when I was 10. I was in a production of The Giraffe and the Pelly and Me at Polka Theatre in London. He played the Duke of Hampshire, I played Billy. Getting to work with him again, years later, on our own project, was a real treat!

It so happens that we've been developing a story inspired by the legend of the Black Shuck for a very long time, and we're currently in the middle of a funding application to make it.

We just went to a talk about folk horror, and when asked what folk stories she would like to see adapted, one of the panellists said "Black Shuck".
