I think my card is a little stiff to do this with but behold! I’m off to town later so I’ll look for a secondhand book I don’t mind cutting up and try doing them with paper (I don’t currently have much scrap paper) :) Fighting the urge to *buy* colourful paper cos that’s completely not the point 😂

Just ordered some square card blanks from papercard.co.uk. Site says they’re compatible with printers, so I might be able to print some square Christmas cards this year!

Anyhoo. Took some pics of the old bike, now debating what price to put it on eBay for. It was bought in 2009 for £400ish new. Not been ridden for two years so bits are slightly sad. The back gears and chain were replaced while it was serviced, and I’ve ridden it maybe once since then. Thoughts?

Okay having seen a video of this pattern, turns out I did have it the right way around. Anyway, here’s one with just one elastic fastening at the back - gonna try this tomorrow with Merry, and one with two pieces as well, see which is best. I’m having fun! And I can’t snack while doing it so 👍👍👍

Charity shops (and Franklin’s remnant section) came up trumps for Christmas dog bows! Will have a little experiment later. Gonna give them a gentle wash first 😆

I’m not sure I can imagine a reasonable sequence of parking which would end up with that giant car in that particular position. Parked like a right doof.

Boss’s folks have said I can have the air fryer they’re trying to get rid of: it’s hardly used and they don’t want anything for it! Boss and I have decided she’s an air fryer dealer, which inspired this silly drawing
