the absolute highlight for me are the instrumentals. it’s my first taste of anything industrial so i thought it’d sound kinda grating at first but idk!! it doesn’t!! that combined with trent reznor’s voice and vulnerable lyrics.. wow..

pretty little hate machine is really really good, don’t get me wrong.. it also kinda made me appreciate closer a bit more. it’s sorta like sexy at first glance but if you look at it for more than 5 seconds it’s actually really not sexy and just really sad.
