My argument is that most non-strict religions would die out because most people will not want to go back to dark days after experiencing pleasurable, exciting and adventurous feeling of progress, and this only amplifies in future generations.

The first immediate benefit is moving our harmful industry to space if we figure it out; this can reduce so much strain on our planet, and space for us is a near-infinite void; we just need to do more science to utilize it.

Religion, fundamentally, is this, especially the most fundamentalist forms, which operate more like cults. Because of that level of control, they are on the rise, and that is scary.

However, this barely scratches the surface of human emotions, which are shaped by countless variables arising from complex interactions between individuals, their environment, and mixed emotions.

These terms are convenient but not true representation of reality not even close.

When people use dehumanising or positive terms to describe someone, their intent often simplifies to a binary good, evil distinction.

And then I realised that the words "god" and "evil" have an insanely destructive effect.

Rather than seeking solutions, people think of revenge, punishment and other counterproductive approaches.

Many things that seem like solutions are not actual solutions, but rather pseudo-solutions.
