The game’s sprite work for the SNES version is gorgeous! I didn’t initially know this, but Rayman was being developed for the SNES CD, but since that console went unreleased, development moved to the Atari Jaguar. It makes me wonder if Rayman would’ve been as big of a hit if it was on SNES instead.
