Tsukiyo Progress Report #1
Something of an "announcement" of the project, a summary of the game on a basic conceptual level. I wanted to make this so that it would be possible to express what kind of game I intend to create. I have nothing more to share for the time being. More work must be done...

Following up on this. That Black Gryph0n guy ended up buying the plane (RV-7 model) and finished all the training and such to be able to fly it unsupervised. Fiance showed me he posted pictures of the plane on Twitter. A little surreal a plane my dad and I built ended up in a celebrity's hands.
Used to help my dad build planes when I was younger. He put one up for sale online and ended up selling it to some singer named Black Gryph0n. My girl was baffled I didn't know the guy. Guess he's kinda famous online idk. Just think it's funny how it turned out.

Was a little busy the last couple days, but now's a good time to do a New Year's thing.
Guess the first thing to note is that I made zero progress on learning to draw, between work, spending time with my fiance, and playing games. Something I need to fix this year. It's going to be a busy one.

Was dragged into watching Marty Supreme by my fiance after she read good things about it. I rather strongly disliked the narcissistic, self-destructive, impulsive conman of a protagonist. On the other hand, my fiance liked it precisely because he was such a trashy excuse for a human being. Ah well.

Fiance put the new episodes of Stranger Things on and we both slogged on through. Every minute of interest was sandwiched by 10 minutes of misplaced human drama. It nails the aesthetics great, but just about everything else is so painful. Can't care about a single one of those characters. Boring.

My girlfriend pointed this one out to me and said "this looks like something you would like", and sure enough the cover artist was Rolua! Sick cover art. Variety of artists in this one though, hard to say if the rest of it would be as good...

My fiance and I have been watching Pluribus over the last couple weeks. While I wasn't all that enthusiastic on it at first, the man from Paraguay has really sold it for me. The way he's been developed to contrast the main character before they meet was very well done.

Been dealing with favoritism and uneven workplace responsibilities, found out talking to the store director that my boss made plans with them to write me up just for saying I wouldn't do another coworker's job that they were too lazy to do themselves. Twice. Didn't even say anything the second time.

Completed watching "Tatsuki Fujimoto 17-26" with my fiance today. Quite liked the last two stories, Nayuta of the Prophecy and Sisters. Nayuta felt the most like a "Fujimoto story", so to speak, while Sisters was fairly reminiscent of Look Back in some respects. My fiance liked the alien one most.

Been sick for about 11 days, about half of which has just been a cough I figured would go away sooner or later. Woke up at 3 and spent about 40-45 minutes just coughing without a break longer than a minute. Probably would have gone on longer without medicine. Luckily fiance slept through it.

Helped parents set up their Christmas lights earlier today. Previous house was one story, but this one's two. I start trembling on ladders as soon as I'm past my jump height, but managed to get the tallest parts done before work. My parents are getting to be old, so I need to help them out too.

Found out "Good Night World" had an anime adaptation back in 2023, so reread the manga. While some of the tech and game elements are a bit nonsensical, it's essentially a story about a broken family and flawed people, and I rather like that aspect of it and the mangaka's other works.
