Happily woke. Trans rights are human rights. Marginalised people deserve equitable rights. Intersectionality or bust.

Cheesecake is a breakfast food
Spent the day stress eating, days worth of food

Still, I guess it's an improvement from 2016 when I chain smoked all night and eventually gave up using a glass & just drank wine straight from the bottle

Wishing the best for all Americans right now & a hangover free day for everyone who needs it

It would have been my Granny's 102nd birthday today, but she died 6 weeks ago
I know it shouldn't have been a shock, but it was

I'll miss her so much today thinking of the party we had planned, how much she would have enjoyed it, and how much she'll always mean to me

Listening to my mum on the ph right now pointing out issues with charter schools, with WFH cut backs, with the racism in education & the "treaty discussions", I dunno what else because she's walked away
Boomers don't get a pass because of their age & apples (often) don't fall far from the tree

We had my Granny's funeral on Wednesday, she was 101.
Going through her things, we found her letters to and from leaders of the country going back years. We knew she wrote them. When Helen Clark got in she put her list of policies on the fridge and wrote to her saying that she'd be keeping tabs.

If you get hit by a car, get their rego.

Sitting here with injured hands feeling ripped off because the dickhead who hit me isn't getting his just desserts.

My pain would be less if I knew he was feeling a different type of pain

Sometimes being a nark is worth it.

What a day. Headache, sore neck and shoulders, nausea, & cracked bones in each arm. Wishing I could take any pain meds other than panadol.

Guess I'm gonna eat a bunch of gummies. What a shame

I wouldn't tell anyone I'd won the lottery, but there would be signs

The same week our fowls were stolen, Daphne Moran had her throat cut.

I miss pebble lollies, and truly lament the loss of the white ones that had white chocolate in them.

Poor Mr Kempton used to have to pull out all the white ones for us painful children.

Sigh

I've been on the vape for nearly two years, and off nicotine for 5 months.
I really want a ciggie right now. I don't often feel like this. I hope it goes away soon.
I'd have to re mortgage my house

It's the 15th of November. Can people quit with the fireworks already

I let my lawns up to "could feed a horse" levels of out of control.
Started weed wacking yesterday. Ended up with super sore arms.

This morning my new flatmate took over and did pretty much the whole thing. Such a relief

So many levels of stoked - can use my hammock again now amongst other things

Someone i know just died of cervical cancer at 40 years old.

Get your smears done. I know it can be scary, uncomfortable, and anxiety inducing, but you can do it yourself now.

Don't risk a preventable cancer.

An old flatmate, aged about 40, and a great aunt aged about 96 both died this week
It always hits me hard when mortality comes cruising on by.
My (maternal) Granny is 101yrs and I have other elderly family members.
It's a ticking time bomb as to when & who will be next and I don't like it

Oh my politics came up at work, and a colleague declared "the green party are communists
The special votes are always students and that's why there are lots of green party votes."

I hate ignorance, especially when you can't discuss things.
