There was a metal band performance as well as all the rave music too, so it was just ideal. Bit of everything. I finally talked to someone I see dancing HARD at every rave and they gave me like a detailed breakdown of how I should preserve energy/work my way up throughout a song, it was so cool

Same! 💖 And yeah the whole show made that summer special. Even when I didn't know wtf was going on, or couldn't handle another Dougie scene (now I'm just fond), or when the episode we watched together was not one of our faves lol, tuning in for that week to week was such an experience

It was as satisfying as I hoped to watch on a big screen! And it was hoops's first time seeing it!!! Couldn't ask for a better way to do it!!! The whole set of eps 7-9 was full of good stuff though. Wonderful Diane, Gordon, and Albert stuff, Matthew Lillard sobbing, etc.
