I can’t believe he stopped the Dem shutdown. After hurting all the government workers and benefit recipients like SNAP he put an end to it before we had maximum pain to make Republicans negotiate.

You want them held accountable for voting to open the government to pay employees and to restore benefits like SNAP to those in need? So you would relate they vote no with Dems to keep the shutdown going and deny those in need?

Facts straight here. Sorry but basic math. All Republicans voted but there aren’t enough of them for them for the 60 needed. Enough Dems finally voted with all of them to open. No it’s not OK to do that. That is why some brave Dems voted tonight to help those starving families.

They were just using us as pawns for the election and votes. It’s all a game for big government. It was our shutdown and the stopped once votes were in.

Happy to see you recognize this is a Democrat shutdown as 8 Senators were sellouts to vote with Republicans. This is going to make it hard to address the Affordable Care Acts catastrophic price increases that were masked by expiring credits. With limited leverage it will be hard to find solutions.

It was all politics to get votes. The election is over and the Dem followers have been played. Time for big government to go back to business as usual. People need to wake up the fuck up. Dem leadership is playing the base.

I’m sorry do basic math. Rs don’t hold enough seats. They all voted to open since this started, but it isn’t enough. You need a few Dem votes. That happened tonight. This Dems in the majority voted for shutdown until a few broke ranks.

Sorry girl you have been mislead. It was a Dem shutdown for political purposes. Now that elections are over they simply had to have a few vote to reopen with Republicans who voted to stay open the whole time.
