I can’t believe he stopped the Dem shutdown. After hurting all the government workers and benefit recipients like SNAP he put an end to it before we had maximum pain to make Republicans negotiate.

Absolutely

Without subsidies like will go virtually bankrupt from the price increases caused by the “Affordable Care Act.” What an ironic name.
November 10, 2025 at 7:36 AM
You want them held accountable for voting to open the government to pay employees and to restore benefits like SNAP to those in need? So you would relate they vote no with Dems to keep the shutdown going and deny those in need?
November 10, 2025 at 7:34 AM
I’ll explain they needed to show they fight the power for your votes. At the same time the Dem base is gov employees & recipients such as SNAP who need it open. They got your votes & opened to help base. Follow me for more FACTS.
November 10, 2025 at 7:31 AM
So you wanted Dems to hold the line and not paying government employees and keep people from receiving SNAP and other government benefits?
November 10, 2025 at 7:28 AM
So you didn’t want them to vote to open the government so its employees can get paid, SNAP recipients can receive benefits as well as those from other government programs?
November 10, 2025 at 7:25 AM
Sorry buddy. It was a Dem shutdown for political purposes. They got our votes and now it’s back to business as usual.

Preach
November 10, 2025 at 7:19 AM
Facts straight here. Sorry but basic math. All Republicans voted but there aren’t enough of them for them for the 60 needed. Enough Dems finally voted with all of them to open. No it’s not OK to do that. That is why some brave Dems voted tonight to help those starving families.
November 10, 2025 at 7:18 AM
They were just using us as pawns for the election and votes. It’s all a game for big government. It was our shutdown and the stopped once votes were in.
November 10, 2025 at 7:14 AM
Happy to see you recognize this is a Democrat shutdown as 8 Senators were sellouts to vote with Republicans. This is going to make it hard to address the Affordable Care Acts catastrophic price increases that were masked by expiring credits. With limited leverage it will be hard to find solutions.
November 10, 2025 at 7:11 AM
Literally just gave you facts. I can’t help it if you’re too brainwashed or dumb to understand reality.
November 10, 2025 at 7:06 AM
It was all politics to get votes. The election is over and the Dem followers have been played. Time for big government to go back to business as usual. People need to wake up the fuck up. Dem leadership is playing the base.
November 10, 2025 at 7:04 AM
The ones who care more about government employee and the people than politics.
November 10, 2025 at 7:02 AM
Assholes because they voted to end the Democratic shutdown to help all those government employees hurt by the shutdown caused by the party voting against the CR?
November 10, 2025 at 7:01 AM
I’m sorry do basic math. Rs don’t hold enough seats. They all voted to open since this started, but it isn’t enough. You need a few Dem votes. That happened tonight. This Dems in the majority voted for shutdown until a few broke ranks.
November 10, 2025 at 6:58 AM
Tonight you saw courage of a few strong Dems to use reason to open the government instead of hurting Americans for political purposes. Dems are tired of being pawns in your career aspirations.
November 10, 2025 at 6:53 AM
Sorry girl you have been mislead. It was a Dem shutdown for political purposes. Now that elections are over they simply had to have a few vote to reopen with Republicans who voted to stay open the whole time.
November 10, 2025 at 6:49 AM
Glad to see a few reasonable Dems end their ridiculous shutdown.
