Local Xiyouji/JttW Fan, Animation Fan, Video Game Fan, Mythology Fan, Comic Fan, Sonic Fa... OKAY!!! I'll Stop...

But Yeah, I'm a Fan of a LOT of Things!
Huh, so Nickelodeon Kart Racers 3 Slime Speedway is getting an Arcade Port! Despite Some Notable Flaws, I thought that Game was genuinely Pretty Fun, so seeing this actually happen is Really Cool...

there's Dice of Destiny, if you want a Decent Spiritual Successor (by both the NASB2 & Kukoos: Lost Pets Devs) to the Unite Games, in the Style of Cat Quest & Diablo! (2/2)

Dude, where have You been?
The Major Resurgence had already started since Nickelodeon Kart Racers 2: Grand Prix back in 2020, with Kart Racers 3: Slime Speedway, All-Star Brawl 1 & 2 and now Nicktoons & the Dice of Destiny all coming out within these Recent 5 Years! Also... (1/2)

To be fair, I think Hillenburg mainly just meant the Show itself!
He likely didn't care that much in terms of Video Games! Also, Unite was NOT the 1st Crossover that SpongeBob starred in, that would be Nicktoons Racing & even excluding that, there's Party Blast, Movin' & Freeze Frame Frenzy...

Aka, he FULLY embraces the silliness of the Disney Characters while ALSO having Sora, Riku, Kairi, the Final Fantasy Gang & even Organization XIII act & feel more like ACTUAL people! Admittedly, Kingdom Hearts I & II did do this well at times, but Shiro Amano does it well CONSISTENTLY! (2/2)

I played & finished it and while it's definitely on the Simple & Easy Side, it is a Decent & Fun Game, especially if You're a Nicktoons Fan! It's not really worth it's $50 Price, but if You can get it on Sale (like around $20 or $30) for the Steam, PS5 or X|S Versions, you'll likely enjoy it...

Honestly, unless said Remake is akin to Pac-Man World 2 Re-Pac in terms of Quality & Gameplay Improvements, I would rather just have this Game stay in the Past where it belongs! Because replaying it recently and Cool Premise & Neat Interactions aside...

This Game was a Slow, Clunky & Boring Slog!

DAMN!!! And You got to play MOST of these before You were 18?!
Your Parents must've either been REALLY Rich OR You must've discovered Emulation at an Early Age, because I find it hard to believe that Kid/Teen You had a NES, GBA, DS, PS1, PS2, Wii AND Xbox 360 all at the SAME Time to try/play these!

Nicktoons UNITE! (5/10)

The Pure Example of "Cool Concept, Mediocre Execution"!
While the Character Interactions are Cute and there's Some Neat Gameplay Ideas, it's ALL wasted on a Slow, Janky & Monotonous Beat'em Up with Tediously Long Levels & even Lackluster Presentation!

Granted, Xiyouji [JP: Saiyūki] was already a fairly known work in Japan before 1952, but with the way Japanese Media (& Adaptations) usually tends to reference Journey to the West, it's pretty clear Osamu Tezuka & Nippon TV played a MAJOR role in popularizing this Chinese ShenMo Novel... (2/2)

Yeah, I recently replayed Nicktoons Unite (alongside SpongeBob: Light Camera Pants & Tak: The Great Juju Challenge, which are both MUCH Better Games) and I was fully reminded of just how Bland, Tedious & Utterly Lacking it was, even (or really, especially) for a 6th Gen Nickelodeon Game...

That would be kinda Neat but given the Game's Ending + Fair Play Labs' Circumstances (you know, SpeedRunners 2 & All), it's clear that Dice of Destiny is a One-Time Deal! We'll probably get Some Patches & Updates (tho, likely not as much as NASB 1 or 2 got), but I'm not expecting a Direct Sequel...
