As it is now “the deep mid-winter” here in Minnesota, I am longing to be in the Caribbean. This parrot was aboard a fun cruise we took in the Dominican Republic in Oct 2023. 🪶 #birds

A lot of people don’t love Canada geese, but I always enjoy them as photo subjects, because they are more accessible than most #birds and as such allow for lots of practice. 🪶

I had a great morning on the beach at Morro Bay a few years back. This long-billed curlew was among other #bird friends and was unbothered by me and my long lens🪶

Recent trip to the Bahamas did not disappoint. The reefs off of San Salvador are in really good shape for being in the Caribbean. #addocean

Here are some more pictures from a recent. #Scuba trip that we took to the Bahamas. The San Salvador reefs are in really good shape for the Caribbean and I was delighted to see so much variety of wildlife. 🤿

Good morning #bird lovers! I captured this little juvee yellow-crowned night heron at dusk in the Bahamas. It visited the same area every night, I’m guessing because of the frogs. 🪶

We came back from the Bahamas recently where we went #scuba diving. I got my Advanced OW certification while there and we saw some great wildlife. Excited to go back - San Salvador has one of the best protected corals left in the Caribbean.
