Wondering if Jorvik still has the smell as you pass by the bloke having a shit?
One year we were in Toulouse at least 3 times cos of the rugby (Northampton Saints).
Not counting the 2 trips we made for the pool stage of RWC 2007 when we figured out it was easier to base ourselves in Toulouse & see lots of different teams, eg Japan, Romania, Fiji, All Blacks w our toddler.

Ostrich supreme was quite nice when I had it in Switzerland.

We took our son to Auvers-sur-Oise after his A-levels as a treat because he fell in love with van Gogh's paintings thanks to the Vincent episode when he was much younger.

I spent 3 hours on the train from Euston to Milton Keynes which was fun... my phone was dying, I skipped lunch to catch the train & my emergency snacks were 1 Riesen chew & 5 pieces of chewing gum.
At least I found my bank cards at home when I got back. They'd fallen out of my handbag.
