One year we were in Toulouse at least 3 times cos of the rugby (Northampton Saints).

Not counting the 2 trips we made for the pool stage of RWC 2007 when we figured out it was easier to base ourselves in Toulouse & see lots of different teams, eg Japan, Romania, Fiji, All Blacks w our toddler.

Could be ratites? Ostriches, dodos, kiwis, etc

Ostrich supreme was quite nice when I had it in Switzerland.

Used 'ratites' as an example of how confusing words can be in a customs training document I produced.

My son can help lead the audience singing again (years ago he got selected to join Bradley Walsh on stage for Captain Hook)

I was involved in a project to modernise some forms - both electronic and paper-based.

Someone objected to the phrase 'Further information on the back.' of some labels we were proposing because a back is part of the human body 😵‍💫

It's only a fairly short train ride out of Paris.

We saw the church, the wheatfields and Auberge Ravoux where he spent his last few months and died.

Not forgetting his grave next to his brother Theo's.

She was only the admiral's daughter but her naval base was always full of discharged seamen.

I think I first read that in an Isaac Azimov book of jokes.

We took our son to Auvers-sur-Oise after his A-levels as a treat because he fell in love with van Gogh's paintings thanks to the Vincent episode when he was much younger.

Might seeing it be preferable to hearing it?

I spent 3 hours on the train from Euston to Milton Keynes which was fun... my phone was dying, I skipped lunch to catch the train & my emergency snacks were 1 Riesen chew & 5 pieces of chewing gum.

At least I found my bank cards at home when I got back. They'd fallen out of my handbag.
