Been having a variety of mental and physical health issues in 2025 so far. Messed up back/shoulder to start the year, anxiety attacks, getting sick multiple times, now a random pain in my torso. This year sucks so far. At least I love my partner, work has been great, and I got to ride velocicoaster.

Apr 30 - Dollywood
May 1 - Lake Winnie opening day + some AF1 rides
$50 Atlanta flight
$86 hotel 2 nights
$95 rental car
$130 park tickets
Under $400 for two new parks in two days, could prob save a buck if I find someone to bring along
Not a bad possible timeline 🤔

I’m prob in the minority but a 300 ft dive coaster would make for one of the best drops in the world. The rest of the ride doesn’t need to do much as long as it isn’t bad.

I sent some emails I needed to send, I made myself dinner, I’m practicing tough music for a gig next month, I got all of my partner’s gifts for v-day and b-day, and I got everything booked for Europa…

I think the next time I go to Europe after this upcoming trip I may do a thing where I just take overnight busses to different places and save money on both transportation and accommodations.
Like I wanna go to Prague and Berlin but also Krakow (energylandia) 🤷

Oh man there are like 5 parks encircling Atlanta that I wanna go to but it’s too much to do in one trip unless I devote like 5 days.

Oh man there are like 5 parks encircling Atlanta that I wanna go to but it’s too much to do in one trip unless I devote like 5 days.

I’ve determined that there are only two reasonable and cheap ways to get to and from Dollywood from Philly:
Drive for 10 hours each way (can tack on a couple hours and hit Camden Park if I’m feeling spicy)
Fly Allegiant from EWR but it’s only a few flights a week which kind of scares me

Thinking about my first ever trip to Universal last week. I go to parks alone a lot and that is probably the best park to go to alone. There’s a ton of energy at the park and it’s contagious. Everyone’s in a great mood and it’s easy to chat with randos in line. I had way more fun than expected.
