7 - Dragon Quest 2 hd remake (ps5) 4/5

Excellent game. Definitely my favourite in the trilogy. Feels like I bought the remake for 2 and got 1 as a bonus. Platinum trophy and true ending for me as well. I really am glad to have played this.

Also, it’s way better balanced than 1.

Now days I just stop replying when a conversation turns to an argument. I don’t insult people, I don’t have the energy for it anymore. Being right doesn’t make the negativity worth it to me. If I know I’m right or that I will never agree, I don’t need that feeling validated. Just move on.

Ended strong, in my opinion. Time for my first viewing of episode 3 now. It’s a shame that episode 1 made me give up on the prequels for 20 years.

I’m going to watch episode 2 now for the first time ever. God I hope it’s more fun.

I feel like running into Dante in the labyrinth of amala in nocturne on ps2 was way too stressful. That and this one are burned into my memory.

Well then. Does not take long for things to hit the fan.

Gotta stay at an inn when you save the princess before going back to tantegel. If you go back right away you miss it completely.

I’ll definitely be lurking. It’s one of my favourite ps2 games. It’s so bleak and full of crazy moments and I’m a little sad I can never have a first play through again.
