I think a different job than the one you have - I’m not an expert but I think they can provide a reasonable position, like up to 2 grade levels below yours or maybe reassignment. But I honestly don’t know!

Sigh - it is just a mess because we don’t know what’s happening, they don’t seem to be following policies, and yes we all assume they will do the worst to us that they can!

I work remote. Am worried they will offer a reassignment to move, argue it’s reasonable and not give me severance.

Not sure if you know this, but the policy says something along the lines that if you are provided a reasonable offer and decline it you would not be eligible for a RIF - I feel like they will use that to screw people out of severance?

I just wish we had some news on how they are approaching the RIFs - job series? Entire offices? Grade levels? Remote workers? All the above? And what percentage. The waiting is just old.
