Why repeat hysteria of billionaire owned media? Years of austerity, erosion of community based supports, health & social support services, strategies to help people, move into better housing, jobs, education ..basically improving quality of life. That’s how to decrease welfare spending

It comes back to your values - should a society care for the vulnerable? Vulnerability can be anything from age, health etc. Social values

That’s a sad way to see things & I pity you. Policies aimed at reducing the effects of austerity & poverty is something all reasonably minded folk should want. You want to defend labour? They’ve went from a left wing party to centre politics under Blair & are now equal to Cameron’s tories

The child payment has existed for 3 yrs now, & the bedroom tax for some time. The winter fuel payment has just been cut. Labour has said they oppose the 2 child benefit cap and went back on that once elected. If labour are embarrassed they should do something about it

Where do you think we ‘get’ our money from in Scotland? Do you believe Scotland gets every penny raised in tax from business in Scotland or on Scottish land? Patronising much?

The 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿 govt mitigates a few 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿 policies like this, bedroom tax & winter fuel payment. Yes that means less spending in other areas. But what sort of society do you want to live in? One that has a govt attempting to deal with some aspects of poverty, equality etc.You make a choice with your vote

Reform is a problem for ENGLAND and labour have moved so far right to accommodate the English right wing voters. That says to me they are scared, it influences their policies and with all the economic evidence pointing to the damage from Brexit, they are definitely not putting the ‘country’ first

They’re scared to join because of Reform…that’s not exactly putting the electorate first as they promised.
