My Miss Kim lilac is blooming for the first time this year. It was was barely a twig when I first planted it about six years ago. The deer have basically eaten the bottom half of the shrub but I’m still thrilled by the blooms they left me.

This is a pink Nerine lily. It blooms late August. The deer have no interest in them. They are always such a treat when the hot summer days have taken their toll on most of my flowers. #flowers #gardening #bloomscrolling

Crinum Lily, Stars and Stripes. Their blooms do not last long but I enjoy them just the same. #bloomscrolling #lilies #flowers

My faithful companion for almost 15 years. I lost her in 2020. She was a shelter rescue but pretty sure she rescued me.

Let’s walk the walk.

Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye have done it unto one of the least of these my brethren, ye have done it unto me.

This photo was taken by my multi talented cousin who left this world much too soon. Too beautiful not to share. #birds #birding #birdphotography

Going through my photos and came across this shot of Great Egret taken in PVR back in 2018. Probably taken with my Galaxy S8. 😆

My niece gave me this Chinese Money Plant about a year and a half ago. Lower leaves started yellowing and falling off. Moved from eastern to northern facing window and have 4 new leaves and some babies within a month. #gardening #secretsauce

See if you can spot the American Bald Eagle pair. This old pine is on the edge of my yard. They come perch every night at dusk and fly away at dawn. I think their nest is nearby but not in this tree. #baldeagle #birds

Every #flower is my favorite when I’m looking at it but the peony is my absolute favorite. These were all grown from bare root. #bloomscrolling #gardening

This daylily is growing in a pot on my deck. Can’t recall the name. If not for the deer, I would have a yard full. #bloomscrolling #daylily #gardening

I inherited my love of #gardening and #flowers from my Mother. These drift roses keep showing off at her house despite very little maintenance. She’s unable to walk around her yard now and look at all of her flowers. I snapped this picture last summer so that she could at least enjoy them a little.

Two honeys on my butterfly weed. One of the best things I’ve planted in my yard. They’re perennial, butterflies and bees love them and they are pretty to look at. #bloomscrolling
