Just started my fourth Campus Cardigan (by Alexandra Tavel) this year. Yarn is Hobbii Amigo Chunky in Cast Iron. What’s on your needles? #showmeyourknits

I put some whipped cream in them.

First time making rough puff pastry, and I’m pretty tickled with my layers! I used the recipe from Sally’s Baking Addiction Baking 101 cookbook.

She looks a little serious here, but she loves a morning walk.

I’m trying to learn watercolor. I did some a few years back, but I haven’t had my paints out since. It’s kind of nice getting back into it.

The #showmeyourknits theme this week is Blue! This Diggory Tee in Araucania Yarn Huasco Sock Prism Paints in Iris is one of my favorite tops.

I’m mid-Ranunculus, but I left my yarn at home, so I had to make an emergency trip to the yarn store yesterday, and now I’m doing this Stormy Sky Shawl while traveling. Yarn info in alt text.

Everything is terrible but here are some sea lions hanging out on a buoy.

This is one of the only things I have knitted with any significant yellow and the only thing I have knitted on this loom. It was a blanket for my niece, and I apparently didn’t take any pictures of the finished blanket.

It’s cowl week on #showmeyourknits. I wish I had a better picture, but for Christmas 2020, I knitted five of these Autopilots. They were so fun to knit. Now that I’m thinking about it, I might have to knit some more of them.

The #showmeyourknits theme is blankets this week! I loved this Chevron Garter Baby Blanket that I made for my cousin last year. I think the yarn was a Cascade Yarns, but I couldn’t swear to that. This blanket was an absolute joy to knit and turned out super soft and squishy.

I had cast on a sock when I saw someone’s Stormy Sky Shawl here on Bluesky and decided to pivot. The yarn is Oil Slick from @oldrustedchair.bsky.social. I’m about to go back and fix that stitch I dropped right now.

I’m a couple of days late for cardigan week, but I have to share! I’m notoriously bad at finishing projects that people have asked for, so he didn’t believe I was really going to do this, but here it is! This was my first time seaming pieces, and I’m really proud of it.

This is the Simple Sweater from Tin Can Knits in yarn from Jody Long, but I don’t remember what the yarn was specifically.

Hopefully, this stack of pieces will become a cardigan in the next few days. I’ve never seamed pieces together before, so I’m a little nervous about it, but it’ll never get done if I don’t try!

I’ve been wanting to try some simple colorwork for a while, and when I saw the April Black Label yarn from @lolabeanyarnco.com, I knew it was time. This hat was so fun to knit, and this yarn is perfection! (Pattern info in alt text)

I don’t love garter stitch most of the time, but I didn’t want to do stockinette because that sounded like more purling than I wanted to do. I really liked the way it came out, though. It was nice and squishy! This is the one I did. It was a baby blanket, so not very big.

I’m currently working on my second cardigan. This was my first, the Harvest Cardigan from Tin Can Knits. I’m pretty sure the yarn was a Malabrigo, but I couldn’t swear to that.

I mostly finished this weeks ago, but I finally wove in my last few ends. My best lace work to date! Pattern is the Love Note from Tin Can Knits. Yarn is Cascade Yarns 220 Superwash sport weight in Lake Chelan Heather.

I also picked up some DKs from The Hook and Needle. I want to make a top out of these, also undecided which one though.

Finally got around to taking some pictures of my LYS day purchases. First up are these lovely skeins I picked up at The Bee’s Knits. I know I want to make a big shawl or wrap with these, but I’m not sure what yet.

I’m going shopping later, so I’ll add a couple of posts for my favorite LYSs, but in the meantime, to highlight one of my favorite indie dyers, I recently finished my Sockhead Slouch hat in the March Black Label yarn from @lolabeanyarnco.com

This week is gift knits! A couple of years ago, my mom and I knitted market bags for my aunts and cousins for Christmas. I tried to find the pattern, but I don’t remember what the name of it was. The yarn was Cairns by Queensland.
