So a massive chunk of the roof that was exposed during the roofwork, was just straight up ripped off last night during the storm. Roofer's said in 14 years he's never had that happen. If we had've had the foam ripped out already there would've just been a completely open hole. Fun times.

So I just saw the photos of the state of the tiling on the roof from how it was apparently "repaired" before.

Fucking silicone and mastic.

Also had 0 felt under the tiles, no batons, and a good 1/10 of the tiles were cracked.

But the beams are fine, which is nice.

Well I just learned Bluesky doesn't do gif's yet. Shame.gif.

It's a bit fucking terrifying how fast the news, media, and many countries are essentially backing genocide. That when, being told you had 24 hours notice that an entire city was going to be wiped off the map, nobody's attempting to stop it. Fuckin already looks like something out of Fallout ffs.
