I suspect that some of these personality changes post-Covid infection mirror some of the changes in Alzheimer’s patients. Combined with aphasia and other changes, there is overlap.

I think so much of this has to do with how writing instruction treats scaffolding. As a student, I would be a frustrated when I had a week to turn in an outline and then even more weeks to write. The real work was the research to build the outline. I never quite solved it when teaching comp.
