I am fortunate to say that I saw this and many other O’Keefe paintings yesterday in a brief visit to the always amazing #ArtInstituteofChicago. They are literally steps apart from Hopper’s “Nighthawks at the Diner”, Wood’s “American Gothic,” and other masters. 30 mins at the Art Inst can change you.
